We are dog friendly

 With these dangerously high temperatures, leaving your four-footed pal at home is best. However, if you are traveling with your dog and plan to stop by West Wind PLEASE don't leave your dog in your car or sitting outside in the heat. We are PET FRIENDLY! You are always welcome to bring your dog into the shop to enjoy the A/C and get a drink of water and a treat. Let's keep those pups safe during this heatwave!

RE-Opening June 11/21

 

Tomorrow is the big day!  We're reopening to foot traffic at 10 am, Friday, June 11!  Hooray!  We are so excited!
Safety measures will be in place, limited numbers in the shop, and masks are required!

To help with traffic flow, CURBSIDE SERVICES WILL CONTINUE  to be offered.

If you know what you need please feel free to place your order ahead of time for curbside pick-up.  This is especially useful for people who are in need of one specific item (ie. pet food, outdoor spray, a specific clothing garment, a specific bird feeder, etc).   If you call/email/FB or IG message, or text ahead we will have your items ready for you to pick up on arrival and you can avoid any line-up to enter the shop as your pre-ordered/pre-payed item will be brought out to you at the front door.   Easy peasy!

For IN-STORE shopping, we are so happy to have you back in the shop!  With our capacity limited we are only able to have a few people per floor in the shop at once.  We will do our best to manage both levels of the shop to give everyone a chance to browse and enjoy our newest arrivals safely.    We greatly appreciate your patience during these challenging times as we try to accommodate these restrictions.

Updated curbside pick-up hours

With the Ontario government extending the lockdown into the middle of June now, we are adjusting our hours. 

We will be at the shop TUESDAY to SATURDAY by 10 am.

April 8, 2021 Lockdown

 

Here we go again……

The Ontario government has mandated that we must once again close our business to foot traffic and only offer curbside services.  

We will be at the shop TUESDAY and FRIDAY from 1030-130 for curbside pick-up.  We are available SUNDAY by appointment for customers who are not able to come on weekdays.

Reopening February 10

 

We are reopening to foot traffic on Wednesday, February 10 at 10 am!

As always, we are taking precautions to keep our customers and team members safe, including limiting the number of customers in the shop and enhanced cleaning protocols.

A facemask is mandatory to enter the shop. If you are unable to wear a mask, please contact us via phone or email to place an order for curbside pick-up.

If you have been out of the country in the last 2 weeks, or in contact with anyone who has been, please do not enter the store.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of covid-19 such as loss of taste/smell, fever, sore throat, cough, or have been around someone who has, please do not enter the store.

We understand that even with increased safety measures in place, some of our valued customers will prefer to use contact-free curbside pick-up. We will continue to offer this service for as long as needed, and of course, shipping will also be available for our out-of-town customers. The safety and comfort of our customers and team is always our top priority.

If we all do our part we can safely navigate these challenging times. See you Wednesday!

Update to hours due to the provincial lockdown

Effective Dec 26/20 modified services will be in place to accommodate the government's forced closure to foot traffic.

We will now be closed Dec 25 - 27.  We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Staff will be on-site Dec 28-30 from 11-4 to provide curbside pick-up/exchanges.  Please call the shop at 613-332-1196 from your vehicle when you arrive and a team member will assist you.

For the month of January until the closures are lifted, curbside pick-up will be available on select days, by appointment.  Updates will be posted to Facebook and IG regularly.

Private Shopping now available

 

💚Book your private shopping appointment at West Wind.

The holidays are fast approaching and everyone is trying to get their shopping done early this year. We know that some households have vulnerable family members and are not comfortable shopping during regular hours when other customers are in the store. To accommodate the needs of our customers who want to shop in person but are trying to minimize all contact with people outside of their bubble, we are now offering private appointments.

Appointments are available Tuesday - Saturday in half hour blocks before we open in the morning.

Appointments are available for individuals or for small groups all in the same "bubble". Mask wearing is still required.*

*As always, customers who are unable to wear a mask may call or email their order for contact-free curbside pick-up -- virtual facetime shopping is available if needed.
