August is upon us and there is much to look forward to this month. High fives to all of the other businesses who joined in on the fun and helped paint the town red for Canada Day -- Bancroft sure looked great this past weekend!

It seems like the effort getting our beaver-gnawed tree from the bush all the way to town paid off. And what a year to win as we're celebrating our own anniversary this year...West Wind has been doing business in Bancroft for thirty years!

Summer Hours

Timber!

If a tree fell in the forest, and nobody was around to hear it, would we use it in a store window display? Of course we would! This beaver-gnawed tree made it's way to our stop yesterday as the starting point for our Canada 150 window display, which we revealed yesterday afternoon.

Our store windows are notoriously difficult to photograph, so you'll have to drop by the shop to check it out in person!
