We've Gone to the Dogs!

We admit it, we're dog crazy.

If you've been in our store you've probably met one of our Newfoundland Dogs who can frequently be found napping on the floor. With a house full of our own dogs plus we usually have a foster dog or two staying with us, we have lots of dogs testing out the toys we carry. We're always on the look-out for new products that are durable, fun and functional. Here's some of the new arrivals today:


The Chase n' Chomp. Great toy for large dogs, this allows you to toss around this silly shaped toy for your pup. Using the attachment, you can pick the toy up without bending down or touching it to toss it again. Yay, no more slobber covered hands!


We've got all of our Jeep Dog Toys back in stock, inlcuding some awesome new designs. These toys are fun, durable (they even hold up to our Irish Wolfhound!) and a great value.

We continue to be Bancroft's exclusive dealer or Orijen and Acana dog and cat food. It's what we feed our own dogs, and what we feed all of the rescues who come through our Newf Rescue. We've got our Bling-Bling Blinkers back in stock! Perfect for walking fido at night, these ensure that you and your pet are safe in the dark.

Being volunteers in dog rescue, we dedicate much of our lives to helping dogs in need and spend time each day doing work for animals. Not only do we have fosters in our home most of the time, but we also run the Newf Friends Newfoundland Dog Rescue serving Ontario and we are active volunteers with the All Breed rescue HART which serves the Bancroft area.

Naturally, we have rescue themed gifts in our store, and have just restocked on the popular "One of us is a Rescue" leashes, along with a few other designs. We've also received new rescue themed magnets perfect for your vehicle or fridge!

With the arrival of milder weather, and loads of sunshine we're all starting to think about Spring and the coming cottage season. We've spent the last few weeks placing orders and getting ready for Spring.
