If a tree fell in the forest, and nobody was around to hear it, would we use it in a store window display? Of course we would! This beaver-gnawed tree made it's way to our stop yesterday as the starting point for our Canada 150 window display, which we revealed yesterday afternoon.

Our store windows are notoriously difficult to photograph, so you'll have to drop by the shop to check it out in person!

Kicking off our 30th year!

 

May is finally here and there is much to look forward to this month:  cottage season officially begins, new products arrive at our shop daily, Mother's Day, the Victoria Day long weekend, and of course, we're kicking off our 30th season!  Yep, THIRTY YEARS!  Thanks to all of our loyal customers for making us a cottage country tradition since 1987.  We'll be celebrating our big anniversary all summer long and hope that you'll join in on the fun and celebrate with us.

This weekend has been a popular one for opening up cottages and trailers. It was wonderful to have so many of our seasonal visitors drop in to say hello and do a little shopping yesterday.
