New This Week!

Our first 2008 shipment of Woolrich Spring Clothing has arrived!

We are now stocked in 3/4 sleeve tops in fresh Spring colours, capri pants, v-neck hoodies, blouses, and high performance 3xdry shirts!

We have also received a new shipment of bath accessories, including free standing chrome towel racks, and racks that hook over your bathroom door. We've also have a new selection of very well priced bath mats.

We have restocked on the 30 lb bags of Orijen Dog Food, and the 5 lb bags of cat food, and now also have a line of dog flotation vest in stock - ready for those boat trips when the lakes finally thaw!

Later this week we are expecting another order of purses and handbags, a new line of casual clothing, and new releases from Brickstone Fine Foods!

We've been busy unpacking!

It's been a busy week for deliveries as we prepare for the spring season!

New this week:

• We are very excited about our new line of bath accessories, including some rustic designs from Woolrich! Our renovations to the bath section of the store are nearly complete and our new arrivals will be on display by Tuesday.
• Our art orders are starting to arrive! New this week are some fabulous new framed art prints, as well as repeats on some of our favourites. The hugely popular birch tree photo is back in stock!
  
• Wallets, wallets and more wallets! The latest releases from ESPE are now in stock, along with new purses, passport holders and more!

Stay tuned for more new arrivals next week - we are expecting Ca John's, Hatley, Thunderbird, and so much more to arrive within a few days!

Dinner is Poured....

.......Will Cook for Beer.....and other fabulous new apron designs by Wendy Tancock are now in stock! These aprons are made in Canada! We also now have Wendy Tancock Design infant onesies and baby bibs! Drop by the store to see this great new product!

Our new line of Canadian Made Pet Products have also arrived! We are now offering Canadian Made collars, leashes, double leads and harnesses, as well as our usual assortment of Canadian Made bear bells, ID holders and other accessories! The bear bells are great for alerting not just bears but other wildlife like deer, elk and moose that you and your dog are in the area - this helps to prevent you coming across a wild animal unexpectedly while out for a stroll with your dog. All of our dogs wear these bells when we are hiking.

We also have new inventory of the popular biodegradable, scented, stoop-and-scoop bags and holders! Lots of designs and scents to choose from, including a new line of Canadian Made carriers!

....and we found it!

We now have a selection of 2 in 1 purse/wallet combos, as requested by our customers! These purses have a compartment to carry keys, cosmetics and such, while the other half folds out like a wallet and has compartments for your credit cards, cash, change, receipts, etc. No need for a separate wallet, as it is built right into the purse! These purses are perfect for traveling! We have a few styles in stock, all genuine leather and priced from $30-$40.

Also new this week are a large selection of new purses and handbags in all of the popular Spring colours! Blue, pink, green and a variety of metallics are all in stock, priced under $30!

We also have several new lines of sandals that have arrived in time for your mid-winter get away - all priced under $25!

And because we know Spring is just around the corner, we're starting to receive stock of garden accessories including planters, stepping stones, welcome signs, bird feeders, and so much more!

We've Gone to the Dogs (and Cats too!)

Our popular "pet" section is growing!

New arrivals this week include restocking of our top selling "Bling Bling Blinkers", the fabulous "Water Loopies" and the addition of a few new dog toys, including adorable "Humunga Tongue" and a line of environmentally friendly stuffed toys! Over the next few weeks we will be receiving our expanded line of Canadian made dog leashes, collars, harnesses and accessories.

We are also pleased to announce that we are now the exclusive retailers of Orijen dog food in the Bancroft area!

This product is marvellous, we have switched all of our dogs over to it, and are so impressed with this food that we have decided to carry it. Orijen is made in Canada of Canadian ingredients, is grain free, and contains 70% meat and 30% fruit/vegetables/botanicals - the way dogs' diets were meant to be. This biologically appropriate food doesn't contain cheap filler like corn or rice to bulk it up - it is all Canadian meat and produce. There is no other commercial dog food on the market that compares to the quality of this product. We are stocking 3 sizes of the adult dog food, and we are also carrying the Orijen cat food. Newf Rescue Calendars

Thank you so much to everyone who supported the Canadian Newfoundland Dog Rescue by purchasing one of these calendars. We are now nearly sold out of the second batch - only 2 calendars left in stock!

We did send a large shipment of calendars down to the rescue in Whitby the other day so they probably have a few remaining down there if you have not picked yours up yet. You can contact Denise at serediuk@sympatico.ca to inquire about their remaining inventory if you are still in need of one.

Christmas Parade!

Saturday, Dec 1st was the Bancroft Christmas parade.......lots of fun for all...here's a few snapshots as the parade went past our door.....

The Boy Scouts sure had a great float again this year!

But, uh-oh! The steam engine seems to be steaming a bit too much! Lucky thing they came prepared and were able to get a tow from the truck in front of them!
